T-Shirt Book Bags (Grades 6-12)

Celebrate Earth Day by upcycling an old t-shirt into a new book bag – no sewing required! All you need is a t-shirt, a pair of scissors, and a marker. If you don’t have a shirt that you’re ready to upcycle, you can pick up a t-shirt at the library on Wednesday, April 21. Please register to receive a link to our Google Meet.

Graphic Novel Book Club (Grades 6-12)

Our new graphic novel book group will read and discuss different graphic novels throughout the year. This month, we will read and discuss Invisible Emmie by Terri Libenson. Copies of this graphic novel will be available at the library’s front desk, or you can borrow the e-book with the Hoopla app. New members are always welcome! The Middles: Poetry Jam (Grades 4-6)

Feeling too old for children's programs, but not quite old enough for the teen programs? The Middles is the place for you on the 4th Monday of each month! Grades 4-6 are invited to join us for a creative poetry jam! Pick up your kit on Saturday, April 24 or Monday, April 26, then join us in Google Meet to create blackout and collage poetry together. After-School Art Studio (Grades 6-12)

Grades 6-12 are invited to use paint, markers, and other art supplies to turn an old book page into a work of art. Pick up your art kit on Wednesday, April 28, then join us on Thursday, April 29 in Google Meet for a creative virtual hangout. Sensory Salt Art Kits

Kits Available on Saturday, May 15

Children and teens are invited to create a sensory-friendly piece of art with glue, salt, and poster board. No registration required. Kits will be available on a first-come, first-served basis, while supplies last.

Code a Keychain (Grades 6-12)

Google Meet: Monday, May 17 at 6:00 pm

Create a personalized keychain using beads and binary code! No coding experience required. Kits will be available for pick up on Saturday, May 15. Please register to reserve your kit and receive a link to our Google Meet.
