Sharpie Swirl Painting (Grades 6-12)

Summer Book Share (Ages 3-17)

Kids and teens are invited to our Summer Book Share! Stop by anytime between 3:00-4:00 pm to sign up for our Summer at the Library programs, enjoy a delicious frozen treat, and pick out a free book to keep.  Drop-in program, open to ages 3-17.

Teen Take & Make: Independence Day Craft

Get ready for the 4th of July by weaving a red, white, and blue bracelet or lanyard.  Kits will be available in the YA section on a first come, first served basis, while supplies last.

Safe Sitter (Grades 6-8)

Registration begins June 25.

Safe Sitter teaches students entering grades 6-8 how to safely care for children.  Program fee: $50 per student.  Scholarships available upon request.  Please make checks payable to: The Miriam Hospital. The Adventure Zone (Grades 5-8)

Tween Scene: Ozobot Game Lab (Grades 4-6)

Monday, July 28, 6:00-7:00 pm

Learn how to use the Ozobot robot to create your own robot adventure.  Tweens will learn about Ozobot, create an adventure on a map, test out their Ozobot program, and finally present their design to the group.  Presented by the RI Computer Museum.  Open to anyone entering grades 4-6.  Please register by calling the library (401-949-3630) or visiting the children’s room.

Dungeons & Dragons (Grades 6-12)

Summer at the Library for Young Adults (Entering Grades 6-12)

June 23-August 1

“Level Up” this summer at the library!  Enter our weekly raffles by signing up, reading *anything*, and completing special challenges.  Two raffle winners will be drawn each week.  All entries will be entered into our grand prize drawing at the end of the summer.  Open to anyone entering grades 6-12.  Sign up in the YA section starting on Monday, June 23.  Good luck!
