Caring Cards (Grades 6-12)
Tuesday, March 25, 3:30-4:30 pm
Earn an hour of community service by creating uplifting cards for hospitalized kids. All materials will be provided. Open to anyone in grades 6-12. No registration required.
Magic: The Gathering (Grades 6-12)
Monday, April 7, 6:00-8:00 pm
Play the fantasy trading card game at the library. We’ll have decks of cards available, or you can bring your own. Beginners welcome! Open to anyone entering grades 6-12. Click here to register.
Have We Got a Story For You (Ages 11-17)

Teens are invited to enjoy an afternoon of short stories and poems presented by local teens. This event is open to anyone ages 11-17. Click here to register.

Drop Everything and Read (Grades 6-12)

Teens are invited to celebrate “Drop Everything and Read Day” at the library with a dedicated hour of unplugged reading! We’ll have plenty of books, magazines, and comics available for you to read, or you can bring your own. Open to anyone in grades 6-12. No registration required.
Needle Felting for Teens (Grades 6-12)

Join us for a fun, relaxing afternoon sculpting a magnet or key ring out of sheep‘s wool. No experience necessary! All materials will be provided. Open to anyone in grades 6-12. Click here to register.

Tween Scene: Engineer a Zip-Line (Grades 4-6)
Monday, April 28, 6:00-7:00 pm
Tweens in grades 4-6 will learn how to build a ping pong ball carrier, balance it to run down a zip-line, and decrease friction to make the carrier go faster! Presented by the Society of Women Engineers – New England Shoreline Section (SWE-NESS). Please register by visiting the children’s room or calling the library (401-949-3630).
